Katie has been in tech for almost 8 years, starting as a digital marketer and transitioning to software development in 2018. She spent years as a software engineer, then pivoted to teaching a full-stack software development boot camp for the US Space Force. Now, she’s segued into Developer Relations and is a Senior Developer Advocate at BigCommerce!

Katie is passionate about education, AI, and getting outside as much as possible. When she’s not online, you can find Katie in a pottery studio or up in the mountains in Colorado skiing, camping, or playing with her Anatolian Shepherd, Lenny.
