The DatoCMS authoring experience can be customized to fit your author's needs using plugins. Plugins are created using the DatoCMS Plugin SDK.

In this lesson, you will learn all about the Plugin SDK, its architecture and how to use it to enhance the authoring experience. We'll start by going over the architecture, then we'll provide you an overview of the SDK and finally we'll create a centralized Javascript application that can change the behavior of multiple fields in different content models, set up a custom page and add new links in the main navigation sidebar.
